In 2007, Saint Luke’s Foundation celebrated its 10-year anniversary, having grown from six grantee partnerships to 98. As shared in the annual report created that year (reflecting back on 2006): “The symbolic corner of 10th and Progress, commemorates 10 years of (our) philanthropy…from the self-reflective perspective that Saint Luke’s Foundation’s work is continuous—more of a ‘work in progress’ than goals attained.”
The Foundation celebrated this milestone by awarding a special anniversary allocation to 10 local initiatives focused on building healthy communities, many relying on collaboration to succeed, and all including communications as a key factor in their project’s success. Today, the Foundation still values these ideals of partnership and transparency and is still a work in progress.
