Family Resilience Speaker Series

(5.26.15) In conjunction with the William J. and Dorothy K. O’Neill Foundation, we were proud to sponsor the first session of the Family Resilience Speaker Series held at City Club. The purpose of this series is to help the community better understand family resilience as a lens and tool for building policies and programs. We were thrilled that Marian Wright Edelman, Founder and President of the Children’s Defense Fund, was the first keynote speaker. “If we don’t stand up for children, then we don’t stand for much,” was just one of Edelman’s powerful statements.
