CLEVELAND – On June 9th the Board of Trustees of the Saint Luke’s Foundation approved grants to 13 organizations totaling $1,753,850.00 over two years. These investments advance the Foundation’s mission to achieve health equity by addressing social determinants of health including educational attainment, financial stability, healthy eating and active living, safe and affordable housing, social connections, and the strengthening of the neighborhoods surrounding the former Saint Luke’s hospital.

- EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute (1 year, $60,000.00) for General Operating Support
- Fairhill Partners (1 year, $55,000.00) for General Operating Support
- ioby (1 year, $50,000.00) for Program/Project Support to connect neighborhood leaders on ioby.org to resources (financial, human, and social), supporting their capacity to implement projects they develop to make their neighborhoods healthier and stronger
Healthy Eating Active Living
Greater Cleveland Food Bank (1 year, $175,000.00) for Program/Project Support to increase access to resources in Saint Luke’s service area

- Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, Inc (1 year, $250,000.00) for General Operating Support
- Boys and Girls Clubs of NE Ohio (1 year, $80,000.00) for General Operating Support for the Clubs serving Saint Luke’s target neighborhoods
- Burten, Bell, Carr Development, Inc. (1 year, $450,000.00) for comprehensive community development services in Greater Buckeye
- Centers For Families and Children (2 years, $185,000.00) for Wrap-around support for Harvey Rice School families to improve outcomes in Buckeye-Woodland
- The Cleveland Foundation (1 year, $133,850.00) for Cleveland Purpose Built Communities Initiative

- A Vision of Change (1 year, $65,000.00) for Program/Project Support to engage residents from Buckeye/Shaker, Buckeye/Woodhill, and Mt. Pleasant as Community Health Workers using evidence-based support to reduce health disparities
