The Saint Luke’s Foundation Promotes Peter Whitt to Vice President of Strategic Initiatives

[CLEVELAND, OHIO] – The Saint Luke’s Foundation is pleased to announce the promotion of Peter Whitt to the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. In this new capacity, Whitt will be responsible for working closely with the Foundation’s leadership to ensure the fidelity to strategy, effective evaluation of grant investment outcomes, and management of philanthropic partnership in the realization of the Foundation’s mission.

Since joining the Saint Luke’s Foundation in 2020, Whitt has served as the Senior Program Officer. Specifically, he handled programmatic development and funding proposals of strategy partners in Cleveland and throughout Cuyahoga County. During that time, Whitt is credited with a variety of important accomplishments, including serving as a steward in the Funding Collaborative on Covid Recovery, collaborator with the City Club of Cleveland’s health equity series, and cultivator of strong relationships with key stakeholders engaged in health equity efforts.

“Peter has consistently contributed to the forging of strategic partnerships that has leveraged beneficial outcomes within the populations we seek to uplift. His tenacity, assertiveness, and devotion are valuable in helping us to elevate our mission,” according to Timothy Tramble Sr., President, and CEO of the Saint Luke’s Foundation, “He will undoubtably continue to provide invaluable insight to our effort to bridge health equity for disadvantaged populations in Cuyahoga County. We are excited to see his continued growth and impact as an integral part of our team.” Equity requires partnership at the intersection of courage and action that leverage inclusive relationships and thought leadership from those most marginalized to effect change,” Whitt said, “We need more of these partnerships, and it is privilege to continue to foster relationships with valued members committed to health equity in disadvantaged communities.”
