City Club Forum Recap: Insights from the Youth Justice Collaborative

Last week, we hosted a powerful forum featuring leadership from the Youth Justice Collaborative at the City Club. The discussion focused on the urgent need to shift away from punitive, “tough-on-crime” approaches and instead prioritize effective, community-led interventions for young people. Bridget Gibbons of Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court, LaToya Logan of Project LIFT Services, Judge Anne C. McDonough of Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court, and moderator Habeebah R. Grimes of Positive Education Program shared insights on how the Collaborative has successfully supported grassroots efforts, including placing community-based programs within the Juvenile Detention Center.

Watch the forum to learn more about the Youth Justice Collaborative and how we can collectively advance youth justice and build stronger futures.
