February Highlights: Centering Community Voice and Neighborhood Conditions
This February, Saint Luke’s Foundation continued to advance our commitment to health equity by centering community voice, strengthening partnerships, and investing in neighborhood driven solutions across Buckeye Shaker, Woodhill, and Mt. Pleasant.
In this month’s newsletter, we shared important updates, including the refinement of our grantmaking strategy language to better reflect lived experience and the conditions that support belonging, well being, and long term vitality. We also marked a leadership transition with the appointment of Dr. Teresa Dews as Board Chair and welcomed new trustees and resident leaders whose insight and service will help guide our work forward.
You will also find highlights from our strategy partners and community grantees, including investments expanding college access through College Now of Greater Cleveland, youth enrichment and neighborhood connection through SummerStrong, and powerful resident led work showcased at the Resident Advancement Committee Final Report Party. Together, these efforts demonstrate what is possible when residents and partners are trusted, resourced, and centered in shaping solutions.
