Request for Qualifications: New Saint Luke’s Foundation Woodland Headquarters

Saint Luke’s Foundation is embarking on an exciting new chapter in its history with the development of a new headquarters building in Cleveland’s Woodland Hills neighborhood. This project represents more than bricks and mortar — it is an investment in health equity, community partnership, and the legacy of care that began with the historic Saint Luke’s Hospital.

The new 21,000 square foot facility will serve as both the Foundation’s administrative home and a welcoming community hub. Located at 10804 Woodland Avenue, the building will reflect the Foundation’s mission to improve the well-being of residents in the Buckeye-Shaker, Woodhill, and Mt. Pleasant neighborhoods.

Currently, the Foundation’s offices are located in the former Saint Luke’s Hospital building on Shaker Boulevard. By moving into the heart of the community it serves, the Foundation seeks to be more accessible, visible, and connected to residents.

With a project budget of $15–17 million and construction anticipated in 2028, this initiative is part of a broader wave of investment and renewal across the neighborhood, including the Woodhill Choice redevelopment transformation plan. Through this new space, the Foundation envisions a building that is:

  • Warm and inviting to all residents
  • Flexible and functional for both everyday use and community events
  • Grounded in neighborhood history and identity
  • A catalyst for connection, wellness, and opportunity

The Foundation is committed to a community-centered design process, ensuring that the voices of residents and partners shape every step. This RFQ marks the beginning of a collaborative journey to bring that vision to life.
