Saint Luke’s Celebrates Fellowship Acceptances for Two Staff Members

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cleveland, OH – Saint Luke’s Foundation is proud to announce that two of its team members have been selected for nationally recognized fellowship programs.

Peter Whitt, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, has been chosen for the Grantmakers for Effective Organizations’ Change Leaders in Philanthropy Fellowship. This ten month intensive peer cohort program is designed for senior leaders and will provide Peter with unique opportunities in peer learning, coaching and transformative activities aimed at driving change within the philanthropy sector. The fellowship, part of GEO’s Leading Change in Philanthropy initiative, supports senior leaders in implementing equitable organizational change and advancing thriving nonprofits and communities.

Indigo Bishop, Program Officer, has been accepted into the Funder Network PLACES Fellowship. PLACES stands for Professionals Learning About Community, Equity and Sustainability and is a year long journey that equips leaders with the tools and insights necessary to embed equity and justice in their work. Through a combination of learning sessions, coaching and site visits across communities in the US and Canada, the fellowship empowers participants to challenge systemic inequities and drive meaningful sustainable change in the field.

“We are very fortunately to have such talented individuals on our team. Indigo and Peter are not just great at their jobs, they are both awesome human beings,” says Tim Tramble, President and CEO of the Saint Luke’s Foundation. “Therefore, it is no surprise that both have received such highly sought national philanthropic opportunities. We will collectively benefit from the experiences they garner and tie back to our strategy.”
